Pelvic Organ Prolapse Downward displacement of pelvic organs (uterus, bladder). Uterine prolapse involves the downward displacement of the uterus so that the cervix is within the vaginal orifice, the cervix is outside the orifice, or the entire uterus is outside the orifice.
Overactive Bladder Term used to describe a bladder in which uncontrolled detrusor activity (abnormal contractions) is the suspected cause of urinary frequency (including waking to urinary), and/or urge incontinence.
